No licences and no per-seat charge, so adding a teammate costs nothing. Every rate is published below, including per-minute usage — there is no "contact sales" step to find out a price.
Only the AI voice rate changes with the plan — never the AI itself: every plan, including Free, runs OpenAI's newest realtime speech-to-speech model, gpt-realtime-2.1. Phone minutes, SMS, AI text, transcription and storage are billed at the same rate on every plan, including Free — there is no cheaper price reserved for bigger customers. Seat counts are a fair-use cap on how many people can be signed in, not a per-person charge. Need more than 200? Talk to us — we would rather size it with you than publish a number that is wrong for you.
One person, one number, and the AI as your front desk. $69 a month is less than a single missed job in most trades. It runs to ten logins, so taking on an apprentice or a subcontractor costs nothing extra — and every feature is already switched on, so there is nothing to migrate when you grow.
Once more than one person answers the phone, this is the plan. $199 covers up to fifty people with $75 of usage included and a lower AI rate — room to hire, take on seasonal cover and add a second queue without changing plan again. Most teams start here and stay.
Fifty people or more, several queues, and enough AI volume that the rate matters — Scale runs the AI at 25¢ a minute against 28¢ on Pro, which compounds quickly at volume. $250 of usage included and five numbers. If you are running a genuine contact center rather than a team that answers the phone, start here.
Usage comes out of your included allowance first. Beyond that it draws on credit you top up — there is no surprise invoice at the end of a month.

| SMS received | $0.01 / message | Per segment. |
| Web chat | Free | Never charged per message. |
| Free | Never charged per message. | |
| AI text features | $5.00 / million tokens | Chat AI, agent assist, summaries and automatic quality scoring. |
| Transcription | $0.02 / min | Only for calls you choose to transcribe. Feeds automatic quality scoring and after-call summaries. |

| Recording storage | $0.05 / GB-month | Only what you keep, for as long as your retention setting keeps it. |
Bringing your own carrier? Your carrier bills you for calls and numbers, and you pay us only for the platform and the AI.
This is the one pricing decision everything else follows from, so it is worth explaining rather than just asserting.
Per-seat pricing made sense when a seat meant a headset, a desk and a shift.
It was a fair proxy for how much work a platform was doing for you. That proxy is now broken. When an AI handles a growing share of conversations, headcount stops tracking usage — you can double the volume you answer without hiring anyone, and a per-seat vendor captures none of the value while still charging you for every part-time person you add.
Worse, it charges you for the wrong behaviour. Under a per-seat licence, adding the Saturday cover person is a cost decision. Giving the warehouse team a login to answer their own queries is a cost decision. Every one of those decisions is a reason not to serve a customer well.
So we charge a small flat fee for the platform and meter the thing that actually costs us money: minutes and messages. Seat counts exist only as a fair-use cap, not a price.
| Per seat | RecreateCX | |
|---|---|---|
| Platform, month 1 | ~$1,800 | $199 |
| Add 3 seasonal staff | +~$450/mo | $0 |

| Add quality & WFM | Higher tier | Included |
| Platform, 12 months | ~$21,600 | $2,388 |
Adding a teammate. Web chat messages. Email messages. Feature access of any kind. A minimum term.
A flat monthly platform fee, and metered usage — AI minutes, phone minutes, SMS, AI text tokens, numbers beyond your allowance, and recording storage you keep.
Paid usage draws on credit you have already bought. When it runs out, paid usage stops rather than running up a bill you did not agree to.
The $15 of credit covers roughly 25 answered calls — enough to hear it handle your own callers before you decide anything.
